I had never heard of the Dresden Dolls, but all my friends insisted on pulling me to the show. As always, I succumbed to the peer pressure and bought a ticket. I wasn't expecting the burlesque but it helped pass the time. The first band reminded me of Modest Mouse, but played way too long. I am getting old and being at show that doesn't start until midnight is rough on the legs. The wait was worth it, because the Dresden Dolls came out and put on a very charismatic performance.
