This was a mind-blowing show... energetic and inspiring. They especially rocked out "Reptilia" and "Take it or leave it." With the Strokes, its always worth getting there early and seeing them up close while drifting in the sea of fans. Strokes fans are crazy -- in a good way.

This show rocked. Eagles of Death Metal ruled! The new album is amazing, every track is great. Now I liked the Strokes' first album, but I personally thought that they lost their mojo with their sophomore effort. I heard good things about the newest album, but when I picked it up I was once again disappointed. It is better than the second one but still not up to par with the first one. All of that doesn't matter at all though in a live show. The Strokes live are nothing like their studio efforts. A perfect example of just how good they are live is what my girlfriend said about the show. Now keep in mind that she hates the Strokes studio albums and was only going to see EODM. She said she was blown away by how good they sounded live. I was too, since I had seen them here a couple of years back. I was pretty much going for the EODM too, because I had already seen the Strokes already. Since I wasn't a fan of their last two albums, I didn't have high expectations. Those expectations were blown away by their performance though. If you like either band at all, I can't give a stronger recommendation to go see them the next time the come around these parts. I will write more about the actual show and set lists and stuff a little later if people show interest.
