Anuv Jain, a 30-year-old singer-songwriter from Ludhiana, India, has evolved from an online sensation into one of the world’s leading indie music stars.

Known for capturing raw human emotion, he achieved his breakthrough with the studio version of Baarishein, which earned him a devoted following and over 800 million streams across platforms.

Since 2012, Anuv has released 14 singles, with “Arz Kiya Hai” (August 2025) marking a milestone with his Coke Studio Bharat debut in collaboration with Lost Stories (Rishab Joshi). “Afsos” (January 2025) was his first-ever collaboration, featuring Canadian rapper AP Dhillon. His success transcends borders. “Husn” (December 2023) garnered over 500 million streams globally, topping Spotify Viral charts at #2 worldwide and #1 in India, Pakistan, Bhutan, and the Maldives. “Jo Tum Mere Ho” (August 2024) followed, becoming his second consecutive #1 hit in India.

Anuv has made a powerful impact with his live performances. His first national tour, Dastakein, in 2021 sold out across ten Indian cities. In 2023, his independently produced Guldasta tour drew record crowds, including a sold-out show at Mumbai’s NSCI Dome Stadium with over 8,000 tickets sold. Anuv’s global touring footprint has continued to expand, selling out shows across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, and Dubai through 2024.

Beyond music, Anuv has been featured in Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 and GQ India’s 35 Most Influential Young Indians, opened for Post Malone, and participated in a surprise jam with the CM of Meghalaya on the cult classic “Baarishein.” In 2024, he joined UN LIVE’s Sounds Right campaign to promote environmental conservation.
