Ludovico Einaudi is one of the most influential composers of his generation. Classically trained in Italy, he has developed a distinctive musical language defined by lyrical minimalism and refined harmonic textures, drawing on classical tradition while embracing avant-garde, rock and electronic influences. Alongside his extensive recording and live career, Einaudi has composed music for acclaimed film and television productions, including the TV series Doctor Zhivago and This Is England, as well as the Academy Award-winning films Nomadland and The Father, among others. Ludovico Einaudi has also announced his first ever collection of solo piano works, spanning his illustrious 30 year career. Entitled, simply, ‘Solo Piano’, the new collection will be released on February 27th.
